Classics FC reach promotion playoff

On Thursday night Todos drew 3-3 with Mellieha Bobs to win the section and direct promotion to the Third Division. This result also meant that Classics’ second place finish thanks to a 4-point lead over Mellieha is virtually unassailable with only one match to go. Following the last league match against Todos on Tuesday 27th April, Classics FC will then face the second placed team of the other third division section in a promotion playoff on Monday 3rd May. The winner of this encounter will get the chance to challenge the winner of a relegation decider from the second division, a match to be played on Thursday 13th May at the Corradino Pavillion.
